Historically male gang members will commit the breaks into cars checking unlocked doors and breaking windows. The males will pass the wallets, checks and ID cards to female gang members who will cash checks or attempt to make bank withdrawals.

The gang has been in the Towns of Wellesley, Wayland and Westborough in the last few days and members have been charged with crimes in Concord in the past few years.

DAYBREAKER of the MONTH: Karyn

Meet Karyn!

Karyn has been a Daybreaker for 4 years!! Her son Ross, introduced her in the Spring of 2014 and she’s been a dedicated 8:30am-er ever since.

The secrets to Karyn’s success and injury free journey are; consistency, methodical increases in her lifts, listening to her body and her coaches, and a new appreciation for nutrition. More importantly, Karyn has a positive attitude that’s contagious, inspires to the members around her and, always has the best advice

Lastly, have you seen Karyn handstand walk? She’s a ninja!

About Karyn

I live in Weston.  I have been married to my British husband for 28 years.  We have 3 children.  One college graduate, one in college and one a rising senior in high school. We also have two dogs, a lab and a maltese. I am a stay at home Mom.  I have been doing Crossfit for 4 1/2 years. My son introduced me to it.  I do the 8:30am class nearly every day.

1. What keeps you coming back to CrossFit each day?
I keep coming back to Crossfit because I love the workout, the people I see everyday and that I stop at Wayland Variety everyday on the way home to get my coffee.  I am a creature of habit.

2. In all your travels, before you settled in Weston, did you have a favorite place you lived? And why?
I have loved every place that we have lived.  Our first residence out of college was on St. John in the Virgin Islands.  We also lived in England and our children were born in Chicago and Atlanta.
3- What were you in high school (nerd, jock, loner, etc.)?
In high school I thought I was cool enough.  I did cheerleading and gymnastics (hence the reason I can walk on my hands).
4. What current tv show (or shows) are you hooked on?
Current shows I am hooked on are Last Chance U, Schitt’s Creek, Ozark and Coach Snoop.
5. What’s your spirit animal (an animal that represents you)?
My spirit animal would be a marshmallow peep (knew that would make you smile Michele).  They have been around a long time but are still a classic.
