Front Squat – 205# x 5 225# x 5 235# x 3 245# x 3 260# x 1 (failed 2nd attempt)
I had marked this on the board as a PR, but that’s a mistake. I thought my previous 1RM was 255# but based on the blog, I did 265# back on 12/16/14. So…5 lbs. off PR this morning, but I’m ok with it.
Tabata Burpees – 64
Started out with a set of 12 and declined to 8’s and a few 7’s.

225 and 235 for the 2 sets of 5, 245 and 260 for the 2 sets of 3. attempted 280 for the double but only managed a single (10# pr on my 1RM). 54 burpees.

best part about this pr is that its a 55# pr from this time last year…and i had more in me for a heavier single. progress, and fast. if only my backsquat would progress like that.

Hit 245 for a double, pretty bummed with this as my 1 rm is 271. Just not my day. Probably had something to do with all of yesterday’s volume at 185 with the 15.4 re-test and the push jerk wod. Looking forward to PR’ing this next time! Awesome PR’s from the 530am this morning!

I hit my PR for the front squat @125# during the internal throw down – new PR tonight – didn’t realize that…awesome! Got stronger with a bum leg and all since September

What is going on here?!? I leave for a week and come back to people whooping up on their PRs!?!? Holy guacamole… so awesome. This CrossFit thing might just be effective.
