Do these burpees count towards the 50? Should I cheat tonight? :p jk. I know cheating only cheats me
How many burpees is it if you solo an X-large dominoes pepperoni and pineapple?
“Lucky Strike” – 11:22 Rx
Completely died on that last round of burpees.
“Lucky Strike” – 12:26 Using red band PU’s instead of CTB and it feels like I will never have the strength and mobility back in my shoulder. I love my 5:30 AM group and what a blast playing some dodgeball this morning!
9:43 rx. pull ups got better in the last round, thanks to the push from Kate.
was also nice practicing the 5 Ds of dodgeball…dodge dip duck dive and …dodge. i maaaaay have gotten carried away in it though. sorry.
14:03 Rx. CTBs were slow and rough. I had a kip a couple of days ago – no longer.
Lucky strike – 12:48 RX. Dear push jerk, my triceps HATE YOU. They pray for squats tomorrow.
“Lucky Strike” 10:18 (5×10)
Scaled down, elbow still sore, MUAT’s did not help yesterday…
15:33 scaled to 5×10 c2b worked on stringing two at a time when I could.
Lucky Strike: 12:50 rx. Two things… Chasing Scott down in the 5th round was a great way to keep the pressure on. Fastest burpees were round 5. So, thanks, Scott. Also, the MU transition drill from yesterday helps pullups too… the whole “kicking over the ball” cue translates well to the hip movement in C2B. When I thought about that, it was easier than when I didn’t. #magicmel
“Lucky Strike” 13:26 10×5 KPU working on string them together 3/3/2/2.. After watching a YouTube video on butterfly PU I noticed most people kept their knees together, then opened the hip. Seemed to work when I strung together. I’m not talking about the Burpee’s!!!!
Lucky strike: 14:34 I think?
Rounds 1-2 RX. 3-5 10 CTB
I was struggling with grip on CTB And got nervous I was going to fall off. This has never happened before. After discussion I think it’s bc the bar I was using is thicker then what I’m use to at CFNE. Not at all an excuse but reality. I chose to be safe and scale reps:)!
“Lucky Strike” 15:15, rounds 1-2, 7 CTB, rounds 3-5, 5 CTB’s. Took Sara’s cue on an underhand grip and basically just muscled my chest up there. Glad I did although my biceps are torn up. Thanks for all the pointers after class, Michele! I need to work on the “explosion” everyone talks about 🙂
Specialty: 5×3 BS with 3 sec pause 105#
“lucky Strike” 12:22 Rx, chasing Dave made me push it.
Nice work Tony!!
Lucky Strike: 12:27 Rx
5×3 BS with 3 sec pause 225#
“Lucky Strike” 14:39, red and blue band for PUs, thanks Michele for the assist and pointers! and Dave! Burpees are stronger.
“Lucky Strike” 14:08, gr band PUs
Lucky Strike: 17:39 with 7 CTB/round, mostly as singles with a chin up grip.
Way to rock out the C2Bs!!
Did this at home – forgot to set the clock, but did kipping pull ups instead. Also did the BS – 5 by 3 at 125. Could have gone heavier but wanted a spotter. Then tried tabata hill sprints for the first time in years. I will report back when I have a respectable score …
Missed the WOD. Came in and did the back squats. 225,245,265,265,275# x 3.
Lucky Strike: 18:25, banded pull ups
9:11 rx
Lucky Strike- 11:40 (8 KPU)
Lucky Strike – 12:04 with 10 red band strict pull-ups and 10 hand release push-ups.
Lucky Strike — 13:24 (I think) with 10 blue-band pullups in each round.
11:15 rx
Couldn’t find C2B tonight. Went to pieces after first round.
6:10 rx
Lucky Strike – 19:49 rx First WOD in a really long time I have just wanted to quit. Not sure why but just didn’t have it in me to move any faster. C2B were actually pretty decent and got several sets of 5. Tomorrow is another day.
Lucky Strike- 11:57 RX
